Houses on demolition death row turned into graffiti paradise

I was totally shocked when I walked in my own neighborhood ‘Ondiep’ in the Dutch city of Utrecht. I knew a couple of streets were prepared to be taken down to the ground by construction companies, but when I came home one afternoon, after a weekend spent in my hometown, the whole street was turned into a spray painted paradise, with some amazing graffiti pieces. You can tell people from Utrecht are proud of their city. The one that says Utrecht is obvious at that, but the one with the leprechaun running off with the cup predicts FC Utrecht winning the Dutch football cup final against Feyenoord. The ones that say Steen refer to a rapper from Utrecht. Check out the pictures below.
